Mr P.N.C. Menon

Mr. Menon believes in giving back to the society in a large measure, and he actively participates in philanthropic initiatives in the UAE, India, and Oman. Mr. PNC Menon had decided to will 50 percent of his wealth to charity 40 years ago, and he and Mrs. Sobha Menon are also a part of the “Giving Pledge”, being run by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Mr. Warren Buffett.

As the Chairman Emeritus of SOBHA Limited and the Founding Trustee of Sri Kurumba Educational and Charitable Trust, Mr. Menon is actively engaged in activities that would create a better world for one and all. The Trust runs various philanthropic projects, including the SOBHA CSR programs through a dedicated team of domain experts in CSR activation. Mr. PNC Menon has pledged INR 1000 crore as philanthropic contribution towards development of Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad.

In 2023, Mr. Menon donated AED 50 million to the ‘One Billion Meals Endowment’ initiative of Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) foundation. Mr. Menon has also signed an MoU with Al Rahma Association in Oman, to build 300 homes for the underprivileged over the next 10 years. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Rashid Centre for People of Determination and is a valued partner of the Al Jalila Foundation and Noor Dubai.

Ms Sobha Menon

Mrs. Sobha Menon is a name synonymous with the SOBHA Group, a renowned real estate conglomerate, founded by her husband, Mr. PNC Menon. As the wife of Mr. Menon, Founder & Chairman of the SOBHA Group, Mrs. Menon holds a pivotal role within the organization. She is not only a major shareholder in PNC Investments, the holding companyof SOBHA Group’s expansive portfolio in the United Arab Emirates, but also a cornerstone of unwavering support to Mr. Menon. Beyond her contributions to the business world, Mrs. Sobha Menon is a deeply committed philanthropist with a heart that radiates compassion and generosity. Alongside Mr. PNC Menon, she is the Founding Trustee of Sri Kurumba Educational and Charitable Trust in Kerala. She and Mr. Menon are also signatories to the “Giving Pledge,” a noble initiative championed by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Mr. Warren Buffett. This pledge underscores her dedication to giving back to society and making a positive impact on the lives of the less fortunate.

Ms Bindu Menon

Ms. Bindu Menon serves as a Trustee for Sri Kurumba Educational & Charitable Trust. She oversees charitable initiatives for the Trust and SOBHA Group, focusing on aiding the less fortunate and nurturing talent in deprived sections of society. Her commitment to positive societal change is evident through diverse humanitarian efforts.

Ms Jyotsna Hegde

Ms. Jyotsna Hegde, a Director at SOBHA Group with over 20 years of experience, has been instrumental in the company’s growth across India, the UAE, and Oman. Starting in Bangalore in 2004, she held various senior management positions and played a crucial role in SOBНА Realty’s expansion in Dubai. Formerly the President of SOBHA Realty, Jyotsna oversaw strategic initiatives, excelling in change management, people management, sales, business development, and fundraising. In her current role as Director, she collaborates closely with Chairman Mr. PNC Menon, leading new strategic initiatives and spearheading philanthropic endeavors in the UAE and India. Notably, she played a key role in establishing a premier UK school in Dubai, marking SOBHA Group’s entry into the premium school education sector. Beyond her corporate duties, Ms. Jyotsna is a Board Member of the Sri Kurumba Trust in Kerala, overseeing charitable activities such as building homes for the underprivileged, developing the Sabarmati Riverfront, and establishing SOBHA University for Women in India. Her diverse leadership highlights her effectiveness in realizing SOBHA Group’s vision across business expansion, strategic initiatives, and impactful philanthropy.

Mr A. R. Kutty

Mr. A.R. Kutty brings with him a wealth of global experience and a deeply rooted commitment to ethical leadership, making him a pivotal figure at the Sri Kurumba Educational & Charitable Trust. His remarkable career spans diverse roles across several countries, encompassing responsibilities in sales, administration, engineering project management, and leadership in interior contracting and civil construction. This extensive and multifaceted background is a testament to his unwavering dedication to operational excellence and integrity. What distinguishes Mr. Kutty is not just his professional expertise but his alignment with the core values and philanthropic vision of Mr. PNC Menon. Both leaders share a deep conviction in the transformative power of service, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, housing, and employment for the underserved. Mr. Kutty’s philosophy toward work—centered on compassion, discipline, and sustainable impact—mirrors that of Mr. Menon, making his leadership role a natural extension of SOBHA’s larger mission. At Sri Kurumba Educational & Charitable Trust, Mr. Kutty has played an instrumental role in driving initiatives that uplift marginalized communities and empower individuals through long-term, meaningful support.
