Merit Day–2025 at The SOBHA Academy was a truly momentous occasion, dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating the academic accomplishments of our students. Held in the Multi-purpose Hall at SOBHA Hermitage, the event brought together a vibrant gathering of students, staff, parents, and distinguished guests, all united in their shared pride and joy for the school’s outstanding achievements in the CBSE Secondary School and Senior School Certificate Examinations.
The afternoon began with a serene and contemplative prayer, setting a harmonious tone for the proceedings. Ms Deepa S C, Vice Principal of The SOBHA Academy, extended a heartfelt welcome to everyone present. She warmly introduced the esteemed Guest of Honour, Mr Manoj Kumar K, Vice President of SOBHA Projects, whose presence added great value to the celebration.
Inspiring Words and Commendations
The highlight of the event was an inspiring keynote address by Principal Ms Rajitha Rajeevan. With eloquence and enthusiasm, she emphasised the significance of resilience, discipline, and consistency in the pursuit of academic excellence. Ms Rajitha congratulated all students on their exceptional results, while also expressing her deep appreciation for the relentless support provided by teachers and parents. Her words served as a reminder that academic success is a collective achievement, built upon the hard work, commitment, and guidance offered by the entire school community.
Celebrating the Toppers and Achievers
A key moment in the ceremony was the presentation of mementoes and certificates to the top performers of Class 10 and Class 12, as well as subject-wise achievers. Mr Manoj Kumar K, our honoured guest, personally congratulated the students, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence and to carry forward the values that The SOBHA Academy instils. His words of encouragement uplifted the gathering and inspired students to set even higher goals for themselves.
In their turn, the school’s highest achievers—Ms Abhina S (Class 12) and Ms Jeslin Mathew (Class 10)—were invited to the stage to share their heartfelt reflections. Both students expressed their sincere gratitude to their families, teachers, and the institution as a whole, crediting their remarkable journey to the unwavering support and guidance they received. The proud parents, Ms Sujatha S and Mr Mathew, also shared their emotions, conveying their deep appreciation and pride in their children’s accomplishments, highlighting the crucial role of family in every student’s academic pursuit.
Seamless Organisation and Heartfelt Gratitude
The success of Merit Day–2025 was underpinned by impeccable organisation, ensuring a seamless flow of events throughout the afternoon.
A special vote of thanks was delivered by Ms Umadevi C P, Secondary Section Head. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, students, staff, and parents for making the event truly memorable, reinforcing the sense of unity and goodwill that characterises The SOBHA Academy community.

The event reached a fitting conclusion with the National Anthem, bringing everyone together in patriotic unity. The atmosphere was infused with a sense of accomplishment, pride, and inspiration for the future.
