This year Hindi Department conducted a special assembly to celebrate Hindi Diwas on 14 September 2018 in The Sobha Academy to give due respect to the language. The programme were designed to reinforce the popularity of Hindi as official language. From compering to the concluding Group Song all the presentation were in Hindi. Importance of Hindi as Rashtrabhasha was the theme for the programme. The special attraction of the programme was the thought for the day – As poignant and poetic as it placed Hindi in a pivotal point among other language, like a bindi worn on the forehead of a lady.
