The Sobha Academy celebrated the 72^nd Independence Day with great zeal and pride. Ms. Kanaka Sathy Nair hoisted the National Flag on August 15, 2018. The School Sports Captain Sruthin administered the pledge and saluted the flag.

School choir melodiously rendered a patriotic song. The Principal Ms. Kanaka Sathy Nair orated the Independence Day message commemorating the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the independence we enjoy today.

The Independence Day was celebrated in a very simple way as the whole state of Kerala was under the fear of heavy rains and floods during those days. The students staying in the neighborhood of the school, teaching and non teaching staff attended the function.
